:) I like the bright red of the sticks, semtex looks dull and boring...always be as colorfull as possible:)

I was having just that problem with my fabric, so I sympathise. I'm lucky that I could get up the ladder and haul the stuff out. It also frustrated me no end when all our books were in boxes after out move, and shelving was one of the first things we did here!

Maybe you need to nag someone into making you a set of bookcases... You could spend today drawing up the plans! ;)

:)) I have to many books for this house, we mooved from a 1100 cubic mtr house to a 350............so most of my books I had to get rid of, the others live on my loft, waiting for a home.......

I try to moove my workbooks into my new room but I need help but its a bit a busy time for the others, I wait untill they settle down a bit, pay some attention to them, make something nice to eat and drink and then I wil sqeese them as hard and long as I can untill they do a search for me:))

But first they have to bring down the jungle in my 'garden'.......:)

:) I have a very very small garden, my husband doesn't like gardening, only motorcycles and computers, I can't. We lived her for 4 years and we had a good summer........when my dogs go outside I don't see them anymore..

My garden is about 40 square yards..........I'm thinking of hiring a goat for a week........

Our is long and narrow... VERY long! About 200 feet long! And I cannot see half way at the moment. There are trees and sheds I haven't seen since the last time I impersonated Dr Livingstone...

A lift?

Ehm......I don't know what its called in English, I have a seat lift on the stairs because most of the time I can't climb the stairs myself...I also use sometimes a wheelchair.

And nowadays I use a machine for quilting:)

Hehehe, we use it too to shift heavy objects to the first floor.

A stair-lift here in the UK. FIL had one installed for Audrey, and never took it out as it's too useful for toting the laundry up stairs! I could have used it for shifting all my fabric the last three days!

When the in-laws had it installed, James had a great time riding up and down on it!

Father in law Joe has always avoided using it: he's been very good at exercising his new knee joint! My friend Julie does her best, too, but finds that her stair lift is still necessary on days when her balance is shot or her back is playing up. With those to consider, her new knee hasn't had quite as much exercise as she would like. Mind you, the dogs like riding up it on her lap!

Until his death in december last year, my siamese cat Igor loved to ride with me or alone.........he loved the ride.....I have fond memories of hum sitting like a king on he seat:))

The only thing I hate about it is that its so slow......when I was healthy I liked to run up the stairs:))
