DH and I are heading out for a few days. Going to Albany NY to see DS's MFA graduate show. The giant quilt is part of his piece. I'll take lots of pictures.

Who knew the kid who couldn't wait for the bell to ring so he could escape the school grounds would go on to get his Master's degree and hope to TEACH!!?? There is always hope. You know how artists make a statment with their art?? I'm just hoping his statement isn't along the lines of how he was abandoned by his mother during his formative years as she pursued her quilting passion!
