Thanks, Louise. I used one at Christmas in July at my LQS and it was lots of fun! I wanted one before then but after sewing on one then I REALLY wanted one!

What are the things that made you replace your old Bernina? I've had a 440 for 4 or 5 years. About the old thing I crave is a bigger throat.

I wandered over to bernina.com to see the 830. Oh my. They have some tutorials at 'learn' and I'm thinking you'd better get started. =) I'd be just out of my mind excited. Happy for you, Donna. Polly

The bigger throat for sure and the built in dual feed. The bobbins are bigger, I don't know, I guess I just wanted it, too! LOL Beautiful embroidery too,
