Finished August and September blocks. Not sure I can do many more in the light colors. I'm almost out of selected fabrics and can't find more or the focus print.

With 6 pieced and 6 paper pieced you have 12 of the 12 inch light blocks right now. That is enough for a bed sized quilt if you put them on point or use plain alternate blocks and add borders. You could save the rest of the fabrics to use in a pieced border or perhaps for applique on a wide plain border.

Two more months would give you 4 more blocks. That would be 16 blocks total, another good number of blocks to use for a top. Do you think you might get 4 more blocks out of your fabric? You could always wait until both month's block patterns are posted and then plan your focus fabric usage to get the most blocks out of it that you can.

Thanks, Pat. Wish I had enough of the fabrics to do all 12 months but it doesn't look like I do for the lighter one.

Thanks for the ideas. I am considering putting them on point. And I may wait until all the remaining blocks are posted and pick my favorites for the fabric I have left. I may also look for some light fabric with cherry blossoms that would look good with what I have.

Mary,

do you know what the selvage says? I might have some of that lighter fabric.

Haiku was the name. I don't remember the designer or who she designed it for but would recognize the name if I saw it.
