DH is at it again

So were you by chance drinkin' some of that nog I got at Wal-Mart?

Thanks for putting up GrammyKathy's link! I just might have to have me some of those purple stars. Sure won't go shopping in y'all's neck of the woods since GrammyKathy's DH bought it all! Won't be shopping in my neck of the woods either since our second (third?) California snowstorm has made its way over the hill into Reno. Those stars would go wonderfully with a Tinker Bell print I got off eBay a couple of years ago. . . . If it keeps snowing, I cold get lots of things done, or at least started.

Tinker Bell?? DId I read that right??? There's been an influx over the last couple of years of "all things Tink" at our house, mainly because, well, DD favors her a bit - blonde, big blue eyes, HUGE piss-poor attitude...I have seen those stars both at my LQS and at Wally world...love them but never had a project for them. I had one of the other fabrics, but no clue where it got to...just an FQ..

Really?! That's really awesome, GrammyKathy ... you've got yourself a wonderful, supportive man. But then, you deserve it!!! What I wouldn't give to be neighbors with you!! :)

I don't suppose you'd let your man come Florida way, would you? I'm hopin' that your hubby might rub off on mine! ;)

Mine supports me, too ... and he's the sweetest man ever, but he can't stand shoppin' for fabric unless I or my girlie's there. He says that the ladies at the LQS and JoAnn's (our only two sources here) are mean.

And you know what? Mine doesn't understand the whole cuttin' up perfectly good fabric just to sew it back together, either! :)

Big ol hugs!!!

Yup, the one and only Tinker Bell!

Last year when I taught high school, Tinker Bell was a favorite. High school girls carried Tinker Bell backpacks. The school was drafty, so lots of students had Tinker Bell fleece throws that they bought at Wal-Mart.

I like Tinker Bell because I like the whole Peter Pan "thing." I'm a

60-year-old who won't grow up. Maybe that's what's fun about teaching elementary school. The Lost Boys were just early Warthogs!

And why cut up a perfectly good pigskin and sew it up into a football?

(Go Bengals! Oh -- next year. . . .)

Oh boy! Is that ever pretty, all 3 of them! I'm in the Directory, if you ever need to unload scraps, anything down to an inch or so :-) Roberta in D, Queen of the Scrap Heap

I went and looked and it's just lovely. One word of caution...if it's what I think it is be very careful how you press it. The detail in the fabric is sensitive to heat. Lucky you. Donna in Bellevue

I agree, those stars, and maybe the sparkle I think I see on the others - those do much better pressed from the back.

That is really gorgeous fabric - drool drool ... but does anyone know how it stands up to washing - do the sparkles fade, chip or disappear? I love this stuff but wonder if it's a good investment.
