Apples & oranges?

What's the point?

If I have to explain the difference between German "people" and the Swastika "sign" well then it's just time to stick to my quilting.

Finishing up my latest quilt with a picture of my "adopted" dad surrounded by deer, muskrats and turkeys in beautiful Fall colors. He's an old hunter. And the best thing about this quilt is that is really does "speak to me"! I have a small tape recording of his voice and all you have to do is press the little cute button and he talks to me. He's pushing 90 so this is one treasure I'll have of him for ever. Already made one of my "second" mom who really is my aunt. She's always been very close to me and while she's only 86, it's heart filling to press that little pink button on her wall hanging picture quilt and hear her say special words just to me.

Do you mean you have little recordings actually in/on the quilts, Donna? I've never heard of such a thing - I think it's a wonderful idea. Please could you tell us more? . In message , Donna writes
