Hullo AllI guess I'm the first to have regained consciousness after our exhausting day yesterday (well I do live the nearest!)What a fantastic show!It was the first, for a new company to the Quilt Show circuit, and was backed by the national Quilters Guild. So, I suppose it had a lot going for it. But Wow! Definitely a two-day visit in future. I realise now that I missed so much. So any Brits reading, do set aside the equivalent days next year, if you can't manage it between now and Sunday this year. It will be worth it.Roberta flew in from Germany! Helen (of Armadillo and trombone fame), Suzie (from under the pier), Moira (plus Hilary her friend) and I all gathered at the main entrance. It was so good to put faces to names. Hugs (physical not quilt!) were exchanged and Suzie had brought the UK Banner for us to sign - which we did at photo time after lunch. My first banner signing - an emotional moment >g< Roberta had brought us some squishies from Ragmop (thanks Sandy), and some delicious cakes from Germany). Although we had to rush to get in some more drooling (at quilts) hours, we had a grand time.I am still a bit dazed to be able to describe the show. I'll have a go when I've come back down to earth a bit!!

Nearest airport is Munich (or Augsburg if you really like train travel), and then it takes about an hour on the train to my house. Munich is spread all over the place. I flew Lufthansa, which wasn't exactly cheap, but then it was to Birmingham not London. 2 hours flying time, plus airport time, but probably faster than it took you to drive! Roberta in D
