Hello all. Life really does get busy sometimes, but I actually stole a few minutes over the long weekend to piece some scrappy siggy blocks together. It felt so good. Even though my whole sewing/quilting space/stuff is a nightmare of a disaster area, I forced myself to overlook the mess and pieced some blocks. In the process I also now have a selection of half square triangle blocks made for another project someday. I love scrappy, so this is a good thing!
Over the long weekend we had two of our many grandchildren come to stay, which meant Grama took the weekend off. While the children were riding bikes up and down the sidewalk, I managed to get last falls dead stuff out of my front flower beds, and while they were playing or watching tv in the living room I was playing in MY room where I can see right into the living room.
Now I really have the bug to get sewing, but ----- life does go on and we DO want our little home business to grow, so I can't complain too much about it getting busy. I also have a yard and garden that is demanding attention.....
I really should be making baby quilts, but I'm not going to promise them to anyone.
Meanwhile our Canadian dollar is doing pretty good, so maybe I will order some more fabric for someday!
