I went to apply for a tax ID number and it asks for a business name. I haven't thought of one. This is for a machine quilting business that I will start up after I have had lots of practice with my new baby. Help! Here is some info about me that might help I am a christian I like animals. I have horses, cats, dogs and fish. I have a garden I like pinetrees, elm trees, maple trees.....well, I guess I just like trees in general I live in Oklahoma I have been married for 22 years I have one child, a daughter who is in college

Got any ideas? Please?

How about "Garza Long Arm Quilting Services".

Oh... make sure to have the name registered or copyrighted or what ever it's called. Don't want someone coming in and saying you are cutting in on thier registered trademark like the lady that had a suit brought against her for naming her coffee shop similiar to Starbuck's. Just a thought.

How bout gypsy quilter since you move around?? :-) It took me a while to come up with Serendipity quilting for my company... and I think a lot of people don't understand what Serendipity even means, but I do, and quilting has been a fortunate unexpected find for me and my family..... and I never expected my hobby to turn into a business, so it was very unexpected....so... I stand by it. Think outside the box a bit... You can always just use Garza Custom Quilting. That says enough....

Thank you to everyone who made suggestions for a business name. I think I will probably just go with Karen's Quilting Service.
