Hug Block Pics

Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you know that I have uploaded more block pictures for Little Mike's {{{Quilt}}}. I got a block from my friend who is still learning to sew and that one is there also. I now have 8 blocks which will make a nice center panel for the quilt -- at least I *think*

8 is a good number :-). DH brought in the mail yesterday and dropped the pile of envelopes on my lap with a groan as he commented on being glad he was going to be out of town for a few days. He is convinced there will be a deluge of blocks -- his words were "buckets full" -- LOL! If I don't get any more blocks, I will be happy as I have the minimum number I was hoping for. Anything more will just be icing on the quilt cake :-). I know how busy so many of you are, working on quilts for the victims who don't have someone to make them a quilt. My heartfelt thanks to those who have contributed a block. I know there are several more blocks out there son to be put in the mail. I will post again once I have received the blocks and gotten the pics uploaded to Webshots. Thanks bunches & CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Most are 8.5" but a few are 6.5" (unfinished of course). Those will get a border to make them 8.5" so that they will all go into the center panel. The stack & slash blocks I will make with the help of my friends will be 8.5". Only 2 of the women actually quilt, the rest just do some occasional general sewing. They are much more comfortable working with larger pieces of fabric which is the reason for using 8.5" blocks. Besides, I prefer 8.5" myself for some unknown reason :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<
