Last time I "misplaced" a ruler it had migrated to the shed to be used to mark timber!

Love that Cheryl, and can totally relate, mind you I 'stand over'( well as much as I can lol) DH and grab it as soon as he is finished with it. The same with the rotary cutter he used to trim a laminated poster with. I had been using the blade to trim paper pieced blocks so I decided it was 'good enough' for him. After he finished using it I came inside and changed the blade ready for me.

That's where mine usually are--or on the daybed under a pile of fabric, books,etc.

My 21" is missing, too. Buggrit! The 24" is so clumsy for ikkle diddy things...

I did that with the cookbook I wanted last night. We nearly didn't have dinner!
