I guess I'm leaving

It is with heavy heart that I might as well start saying Good Bye to the group. Just got informed by my ISP that they are discontinuing newsgroups as of Sept 30th, this year. They claim that the demand has dropped so signficantly that they will no longer offer them. I really don't know of any other way to get on the newsgroup, so I guess I will have to bid fond farewell to all.Eventhough I haven't been overly active on the group, I will still miss being able to read all of the notes, jokes, etc., that each of you post. Also, certainly have enjoyed the pics of all the projects that each of you have worked on. Then there are the tips that I have come across that I sometimes had never heard of or thought of that have helped me.But at least until the end of the month, I'll still be around and reading all the goodies that each of you has to share.Hope all is well with everyone and that life is good to all.BTW, I should be having another grandbaby too, before I have to sign off for the last time. DD is due any day and anxiously awaiting the chance to hold the little darling. This will be my 9th grandchild, but also have 4 steps and 2 greats, for a total of 15 all together.Take care, God bless,

Oh, pfft, no, you have nothing to apologize for. I understood what you were saying is that you just don't personally like posting from google. Your post just reminded me of the stuff I've encountered from

*another* group. People on this group are far too nice to make an issue out of such a silly thing. :-) Where all things techie are concerned, I just tend to gravitate toward the Easy, Uncomplicated and Free. :-)

Marlys...I haven't had newsgroups through my ISP since about 2002. The new Google Groups interface isn't bad, though. Try reaching here through

I find it easier to filter. I make everything that comes through Google, orange. Then if a post goes unanswered and is orange I do not bother with it. Hope this helps.
