Thats great Erin. Did you applique the space craft?
No, the space craft was cut out from a roll of fabric and used as the "square" centre of a log cabin type block. I added the "logs" around the edges until the block was big enough (about 18" square). Then I cut-out the center square of a piece of orange net (the kind used in sports jerseys) and appliqued that on top of the block. I did the "quilt as you go" method making the log cabin block, so there is a thin layer of batting to make it look a little "puffy." Then I just sewed a back to the block and stuffed it with a purchased pillow form.
Hope this description makes sense!!! I've made it sound more complicated than it was really was to make.

Its great anyhow!!
