Hi everyone. Due to health reasons, and a crazy couple of months with family activities and holiday celebrations, it has been awhile since I've popped in here. Well, I'm feeling much better, and although the activities aren't slowing down any, all the holiday activities are now done as well and I can get back to quilting and the group.
I just found out that my son's preschool teacher will be taking a break once the year is over, after many years with the school. She is such a wonderful lady, and the parents and kids all love her. It would be nice to give her something special to remember her preschool days. It would also be nice if the kids were some how involved. I haven't talked with any parents yet, so I don't know if there is anyone that would be able to help yet.
I thought maybe the kids could do handprints and their names on fabric and then they could be incorporated into a quilt for her. I have no experience with this and wouldn't know what to use to put those precious little hand prints onto the fabric. Any ideas? What about their names? Pigma pens??
I have also seen a pattern some where that looks like film negatives filled with pictures. That would be fun to get some pictures from over the years and put together as well.
Any other ideas for a quilt???
TIA!!!!
