yes I do like it better now its done, but not enough to sleep under it. My SIL had seen the quilt before it was finished and loved it so I invited her for coffee yesterday and gave it to her as a belated Hug. She lost her husband last year and her MIL this year. I got an SMS from her last night to say it fits her bed perfectly. I'm glad it found a home where it will be loved and used. If I had kept it, I'm sure it would have spent more time in the linen closet than on the bed.Now to find a pattern that I can sleep under. More fabric to buy. More quilting to do. Have a good day

Well, Heather! I just don't know what to say. It's a beautiful quilt, beautifully made, lovely colors and fabrics. If your SIL loves it, I reckon that's all that matters. I think that's just how it was meant to be. Good for you. Polly
