WOW Carole! Nice quilt! It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who has a QI on my quilts at the machine. What scares me is that Maggie will jump up on the table and sit on the quilt while I'm machine quilting. It startles me no to mention the safety issues. Midnight, who is just a kitten, will only sit on the quilt when I'm not at my machine. You cat is cute!

Gosh that is cute. I was looking for a pattern. One of my best friends is having a baby. It wouldn't matter what gender it was using that pattern. Thanks for mentioning it.

Actually I did my first bit of Machine Quilting on Sunday afternoon. A friend of the DDs left her teddy bear here and he/she needed to be returned by post. Alas he/she could not travel without a quilt. I found an orphan PP star (one of Carol Doak's) and quickly basted it to some complementary backing, and whizzed around the machine with it. Just straight stitch in the ditch but pretty none-the-less. Folding the back to the front for binding and I was quite proud of it. Didn't take a photo though but it made a dang cute teddy quilt. He/She should arrive home today so I'll let you know if he/she made it.

Thanks! I wasn't happy with myself in the pictures...just had a hair cut and it was way too short for my liking! :) The kitty always photographs nicely, though.
