Malvern show

Before I persuade my DH that a trip to Malvern is just what he wants at the weekend, will anyone be at the Quilt show on Saturday or Sunday? If so, perhaps we could meet up while DH goes off to do his own thing!

I will definitely be there on the Friday Megwen. However, if my books arrive during this week, I will be there on both the Saturday and Sunday, at the Home Workshop book stand. Sorry I can't be sure - I don't know yet what will happen. I will say that these Fairs, as opposed to the competitive shows are really good - in a different way. It is lovely to have the small exhibitions from talented people; and there are usually demonstrations. I have seen Lynne Edwards doing Cathedral Window at one. They have always been in the south and east before. This is the first over this side of the country. . In message , Megwen writes

Can't manage Friday, I've just had a week's holiday! If your book will be there I'll definitely persuade DH that it's a must. Can't miss the opportunity to meet a famous author.

Not yet OUT, Roberta! I am promised Wednesday; but every time-based promise throughout the year has been broken, so I'm not full of confidence >g

Ok everybody!!!! Cross your fingers, hold your breath, and make a HUGE wish that things FINALLY work out as promised for Pat!!!! At this point, the law of averages has to kick in and and the deadline is met! Big hugs and best wishes to you Pat! I know what a struggle this has been.

I'll echo your sentiments, Kathyl! :) Pat has had to revise promised dates multiple times and endure multiple disappointments regarding the scheduling on this book. It's only fair that it finally meet one of its deadlines. Either that, or I may hop a plane and smack that publisher in the nose! Grrrrr ....

Thanks Kathyl, and thanks everyone. I can't tell you the relief if this is finished at last. As Kathyl said, it has been a struggle. . In message , KJ writes

Mind??? Mind???!!!!! Of course we don't mind!!!!!!!! In fact, you would be in deep trouble if you didn't tell all as soon as you could. I'll be out of town and I don't know if I'll have internet access. So I'll have to withhold my congrats until I get back.

You're on, Kathyl! He'll learn not to fool with quilters. Are you taking your rotary cutter? ;)

No one should have to put up with the delays this "publisher" (I'm using the term loosely) has caused for you.
