yep me the "up and coming" quilt designer rips fabric with abandon upsetting people left right and centre but well it's the only way to go!
mind you at the wholesalers here they rip the fabrics too when putting the fabric onto the bolt but I have seen the process and it takes a skilled worker to get it *right*
Thanks, the fabric I'm using is pretty thin. It isn't something I'd use in a quilt top, it just seems to flimsy. I thought it would be ok for the foundation, so at least I got that part right, lol!
I'm going to take your advice on tying it for the finishing. I can see where it would be difficult to quilt. I'm sure I'll have questions on that when I get to it.
