Back in January I was invited by my friend Anita Grossman Solomon (episode 1129 airing Ocboter 24) to watch her film her episode.
There were some difficulties involving a guest who unexpectedly cancelled. The producer of Anita's show was also the producer of the missing guest. That producer had also submitted an Ask Alex question that was to be filmed the next day. Needless to say, the producer had no time to film her Ask Alex segment since she was busy arranging for a replacement guest and writing that script to be filmed the next day.
Anita volunteered to another producer that I was coming and would be happy to help. I'd even be happy to film an Ask Alex if they needed it. Turned out they did. So, unprepared, I was coated in makeup and went on to Ask Alex the question originally submitted by Veronica, producer extraordinaire.
The episode with me asking Alex a question is scheduled to air next Monday, September 12.
I just hope I am not too goofy!
I talked to the other Ask Alex people over the two days I was there. The rest of them all submitted their own questions. I only say that so that you all don't think all the Ask Alex people are imposters like me.
