Is one of his books...not too sure about the 'foot book' other than what my Podiatrist has up. He put pages of his book on the cabinet doors showing "High foot low foot"....etc.... Don't recall the rest.of what he has up in his 'cast room' , sorry, I can't be of more help. Maybe one of our Grandmas or Moms on here can help a bit more..
I can just pic Pat having striped red Cat in the Hat 'shoes' around the perimeter of the quilt---instead of hats they would be made into shoes and the middle of the quilt will have high shoe(ballerina shoe) low shoe(flip flop) wet shoe (boot, yellow galoshes or waders) dry shoe (Mary Jane's), etc. now I can't WAIT to see what she does
(((As an aside, does Mary Janes have an apostrophe since it is a title? I've often wondered about that)

There is a Dr. Seuss book called "Foot Book", but this sounds more like "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". I don't remember how the "Foot Book" goes, but I do remember DD had it memorized before she could read, so she pretended to read it.

After sending my post I've had "Seuss-ja vous" running through my head and it's been almost 40 years since I was reading those books over and over and over and......
One fish two fish red fish blue fish. Black fish blue fish old fish new fish This one has a little star. This one has a little car. My shoe is off my foot is cold. I have a bird I like to hold. My hat is old my teeth are gold. And now my story all is told......
I know there's more to the fish thing but my memory has graciously reverted back to when my son had yet to memorize the book by rote and I could still turn multiples of pages to hurry to the end.........the Foot Book as I remember:
