Oktoberfest in Germany - NOT OT

DH and I are taking a vacation and going to Germany next month for Oktoberfest. He was in Germany 4 years while in the military and I've never been. I am so excited and looking forward to it. We're flying business/first class woohoo and have a layover in Amsterdam going and coming home. We're renting a car so we can get out and do some site seeing. We hope to get down to Austria and Switzerland but we'll see.Now my questions that will keep this on topic. Are there any fabric/quilt shops in Munich that I can pick up some fabric? Are there any in Austria and Switzerland? We won't be going deep into those two countries due to time restraints. But I really want to pick up some fabric from over there, just don't know where to go. So I'm hoping all you brilliant ladies in here will have some ideas to share with me. I told DH that if I have to I'll buy a cotton dirndl and bring it home to cut up into quilt squares. He laughed at me. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know.Hugs,Kim
