We have another family at our school in need of help...
Thanks to all the people who responded to my initial email about helping the families from New Orleans who are joining us at Mark Twain. I now have info on another of those families - a single dad of 4 girls (!!). 3 of the girls will be students at Mark Twain and one at Pin Oak. At this time, they are not interested in meals but do have several other needs. They are living with a relative nearby. Please let me know if you have any of these items available. And please remember that several other families will have needs also and we want to be able to assist with all of them, as equally as possible.
As a family they need: 2 sets of Bunk Beds, wall clock(s), toys/games for girls ages 8, 8, 9 & 12. and a computer and printer to help with school work.
Individual info is: Girl, Age 12, Sizes: Youth XL Top, Junior 11-12 Reg Pants, Shoes 9 1/2 W Women's Favorite things are books & soccer Girl, Age 9-10, Sizes: Youth Large Top/ Girls 14 pants, Shoes 9 W Women's Favorite things are games & books Girl, Age 9 -10, Sizes: Youth X Large Top/ Girl 14/16 pants/ Shoes 8 1/2 W Women's Favorite things are Games, books, & colors Girl , Age 9/10, Sizes: Youth Large Top/ Girl 12 pants/Shoes 6 1/2 W Women's Favorite things are colors, toys/games, books. Please note - I think the ages got a bit mixed up but I couldn't tell which ones weren't quite correct! Also, this dad did not put any info about himself on the questionnaire (and there was a space for that!). I know that he owns a flower shop in downtown New Orleans.
