OT: Holy @$%@ 3 more

Have to tell somebody! For those of you that know, we currently count 28 grandbabies! Over this weekend - so far - we have been notified of the impending arrival of 3 more!

2 of them by the "normal" means - one due at Easter and one in October. the third - DH's 2nd DS has announced that he plans to married this summer and the prospective bride has a 7 or 8 year old boy.

That is a lot of news for one weekend!

It's also my oldest DD's 30 birthday today and I have not talked to her yet... I'm almost afraid to now! She does not have any children yet, she does have a boyfriend......

Again, unfortunately, these new grandbabies will not be seen by us very often. Most of them we only see maybe once or twice a year if we are lucky. It sure does add up on the xmas list tho!

Thanks for letting me tell somebody!

Congrats! We're gonna need a score card for this one! Identifying them by DD#1, DD#2, DS#1 etc. who gave (or will give you) you how many grandchildren? Would make for a heck of a family party!

I guess I don't have any standing here since I only have two, DGD from my DS and a DGS from my DD, but I think the more the merrier!

Now, take a deep breath..........

Congrats on the additions!!

BTW did the blizzard arrive yet?? -40 C today, blowing, snowing. An "in" day.

Finally got my first chance to play with my new SM today. Ripped the torn plastic liner out of my tote bag, made quilted liner with pockets. Took me all day but I tried new stitches etc.

Well in a fashion the blizzard is here, currently we are sitting at -28C with a wind-chill of -45C and the winds blowing at 41kph, so it's a tad chilly in the deep freezer of Canada right now, better known as Alberta. Its a perfect day to stay inside and hand quilt, you get to keep warm that way and its the main reason I love to hand quilt.
