OT Prayers or good thoughts please

Thanks, Patti. She (my daughter) left Gardnerville NV early this morning, drove through South Lake Tahoe to pick up her youngest daughter and has been on the road all day. Her daughters' father is in Upland CA and is a long (8 hours at least) drive for them. This is not his first heart attack but this time they are not holding out any hope except for the possibility that his daughters can get there in time to say goodbye. He's in the hospital where my oldest grandaughter was born so I guess a circle of sorts will be completed.

My heart is breaking for them all, even though the divorce was years ago he was my first son in law and was a part of our family.

Thanks so much to all of you.

My daughter and the girls were just a few minutes too late. But the hospital personnel did give them some time alone to say goodbye. They removed all the tubes and the ventilator so he looked more like he was resting.

Please do keep these girls of mine in your prayers and thoughts for the next few days. Right now they're not sure of what they are going to do, they are in a hotel room in Ontario CA, at least for tonight and will probably be driving home sometime tomorrow.

I did tell my daughter that quilters all over the world were praying for her and the girls, or sending good thoughts or whatever it is that we do.
