OT slightly

Hi all,

I took a day for myself yesterday and moseyed around our little downtown area which is mostly antique stores and thrift stores. I mostly stay away from the "antique" stores because of inflated prices that come with the word. During my tour of a favorite thrift store, I discovered a sewing machine. An OLD treadle sewing machine. From what I have found it is the predessor of the Pfaff machine. The brand name on it was Gritzner and it is German made, even the printing on the machine is German. It is in rough shape, in a table that looks like someone must have adapted a piece of furniture to fit the machine. I haven't been able to find much info on line. Does anyone know anything? Age? Place to find answers? I did not buy it (yet) though they only want $45 for it. Advice needed. I already have 6 machines but this is soooo old I feel like I need to rescue it if it can be saved.
