OT Time out!

Could we all have a 'time out' please?

Could we all try to avoid pointing fingers and calling names?

Could we all just resolve to concentrate on quilting and sewing (and posts about same) for the next 24 hours?

Thanks, PAT ... my quilt topic is that I won a large spool of Star C&C Thread today at Guild!

Good for you, Pat! Will you be quilting something for me with it?

Me, I haven't even had a chance to fondle Halloween fabrics, but next week is back to school and lots of sewing time for me!

Phew! Thank goodness.

I have finished my landscape quilt - ten days early for its delivery date!!! - and am going to treat myself today to collecting up the fabric into a large freezer tray (we had to have a new fridge/freezer and I thought 'those trays look useful - so didn't throw them out!) for my next large project. I might even be extra self-indulgent and do some more detailed drawings for the pieces!! . In article , Pat in Virginia writes

To add to my previous post, I just read the original post that started this particular ball rolling. Ah well, back to my binding.

I know I'm not the PAT to whom you addressed you question! But, you really don't want to know. It's ugly. . In article , earthmagic writes

Thank you, Pat! But may I have permission to delay my quilting/sewing concentration until this afternoon? I'm going on the American Heart Association Heart Walk this morning, and I just haven't figured out how to hand piece while I walk! Any and all suggestions I can get in the next five minutes (because I have to leave then) are welcome.

There is always taking a mega dose of niacin and drinking lots and lots of water a day or two before the test. That cleans a lot of stuff out of the system. The most common effort I have seen though, is to try and thow the test by intentionally taking an OTC and reporting it to the tester. For some reason a great many people seem to think that dextromethorphan (sp) will mask any illegal drugs in the system. By my observation, they are wrong.

Maybe we can all point to the strange weather all over the place and say it's the reason we all flew off the handle. I'm with you, though, Pat -- let's get back to our usual on- (and off-)topic stuff!

He stapled me! Im thinking a belly button piercing would be appropriate after the healing is done, just to commemorate all the hardware protruding from me now. The glitter thread would look great on the drain tube stitching tho... a kind of (brain fart here) kind of embroidery where one buttonholes around a circle. I could do shi sha mirrors! Thanks for the welcome back. :-) Diana
