OT vision implant LONG

Oh! Well, if that's the case, then I think I won't renew mine for a while - no time to dust yet! . In message , Pat in Virginia writes

Polly, I'm just getting back online after the long weekend but wanted you to know my mom had this surgery and it was very successful for her also. Whatever you decide, please know I'm thinking of you and sending best wishes! Donna

I have just had cataract surgery on both eyes. Last summer the Dr noticed one eye was getting to the point that I might want to consider surgery. During the winter I notice my vision was getting blurry and returned this spring to get a referral for the surgeon. I previously was near-sighted - I wore bifocals. I got the new "foldable" lenses put it - a cost of $250 cdn each, as they weren't covered by medical. I had both eyes done - the second was going to need it, and this way they could match them more easily. Now I can see in the mirror without getting almost up against it (unfortunately, now I can see all the wrinkles.......). After 40 years I don't have to wear glasses. I did buy a pair of the weakest readers for reading the fine print on medicine bottles, but that's all. I am SO glad that I had it done. my DH said he was going to find a divorce lawyer, as I can now see what he REALLY looks like!

I do solemnly promise that when I can see everybody's wrinkles I will be too happy with good eyes to ever Ever notice; especially since I need a good bit of ironing myself. Thank you all just more than any words I can find would express. Imagine me without words? Here I am. Blessed and grateful for all of you. Polly
