Good grief. I can't believe how much easier it is to attach binding using a walking foot! It was the same kind of duh/aha! moment as cutting with a new rotary blade.

Yup, it is the only method I use! No wrinkles or problems whatever. Don't feel silly - I learn, forget, remember all the time! Bronnie
I use the walking foot for both the binding and adding borders. Someday I will purchase a machine like a Pfaff with a permanent walking foot. Would love to find an older model used Pfaff for piecing.

Look for 1222 SE! I had one and traded it for 7570. I like this one, but occasionally miss 1222 SE. That is still okay. The trade was necessary to make the new SM affordable, and I love the 7570. I think I am just sentimental about old machines! PAT
