Pennsylvania Quilt Extravaganza

Who went, and what did you do/buy? I spent 6 or 7 hours there on Friday, and did white-gloving today for two hours. I was excited to meet the woman who won "Best in Show"! She mentioned that she had not one, but TWO long arm machines! I bought some fat quarters and some fabric printed with all kinds of cocktails (to make cocktail napkins, of course). I didn't really need any patterns or notions, or machines, so mostly I just looked!

Were any of the vendors showing the new Dr. Seuss line? I'd love to know if the quality is nice or . . . gee this sounds cranky but sometimes a shabby grade of fabric is used when the print is sure to be popular. Just wondering. Polly

I enjoyed the show for 4 hours on Thurs. I didn't buy much - two fat quarters, some batting joiner tape, a quick Hunter's Star ruler, calendar, a onesie converter pattern and a cute embroidery pattern for a quilter snowlady. The quilts were amazing. I took a few pics but haven't uploaded or reviewed them yet.
