Piecing Together The Scraps

I wasn't sure whether to post this or not, but I wrote an article on my blog last week titled "Piecing Together the Scraps" about the strange philosophical ideas that go through my head when I'm quilting, and about how life is like a scrappy patchwork quilt. I thought some of you might be interested. It's here:

The reason I wasn't sure is that I don't just read this group to link to my blog, and I didn't want you to think I was spamming or anything. If people think it's inappropriate I won't do it again, but if you like it I'll let you know when I write something quilt-related (which isn't very often - 17 times in over 700 posts).

Melanie - before I was a quilter I was a needleworker (still am, I guess!) and a knitter (I still am that, too!). Anyway, a knitting friend of mine gave me the book "Zen and the Art of Knitting" Great book! Now I see that I will have to get "Zen and the Art of Quilting".

Thanks for sharing your blog. A great read!!!!
