A very special crib quilt underway here. The cats are poiple. Their freckled heads are lime. What color are the kitties' eyes? They must be outstanding but not scary. Deep green? Golden orange? I just don't know. Polly

I quite like the golden orange idea but it might be a bit scary. Roberta's turquoise suggestion sounds good too.

You would laugh. You really would. This crib quilt has 9 cats. The block is from Carol Burniston's Wonderfully Whimsical Quilts. On Carol's quilt, all of the cats are in the same pose and direction. That would never happen. Hasn't she ever heard of 'herding cats'? ( Unless, of course, you have a can of tuna and are playing a tune on the can opener.) On the design wall there are 7 cats behaving. One is going the other way. One is gone off her block and has wandered out on the border. I love doing this. Polly
