Hi Guys, I just posted a photo (not a very good one) of that Hug I was ranting about -- the one I did for the friend in my Needlework Group who has cancer. Our camera went T.U. and I had a friend take the photo with her camera. Seen better photos but it's better than nothing until I get a new camera. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

That's lovely - the heart in the middle really works well, and the peacock colour zings it!

Loved all the hugs - the Christmassy scrappy one really works well - another idea for those little Christmas pieces.

Thanks Sally. That Christmassy one was for one of the Needlework Group ladies whose DH had gotten skin cancer and had to have his nose removed!! This is a man who has worked as Santa his whole adult life hence the use of Christmas fabrics for a quilt delivered sometime in early autumn!!! He has the hair and beard and is an absolutely wonderful Santa. He didn't work last year what with the surgery and having to wait to get his prosthetic nose but word is he looks good as new and will be out doing the Santa thing again this year. Best part is that I know he took his (((Quilt))) with him when he went for any treatments and he & his wife used it nightly during the winter, sitting before the fire, the quilt on their laps and their 4 doggies and 3 kitties (hence the dog & cat Christmas fabrics) sitting with them :-). Hug Quilts are truly miraculous things :-))))). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Lovely quilt - it looks like it will do its job quite well, and that's the important thing! You did a great job.

I love the colors! That's a beautiful quilt that just invites snuggling.

AAACCKKKKKK the durned thing is just TOOOO BLUE for me :-). I don't "do" most blue colors so I was happy that there were so many ladies to help with putting the pieces together -- LOL. I had the pieces cut ahead of time so the five of us had the entire quilt top put together in about two hours! But it's blue -- very, very blue YUCK! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
