I checked the mileage from my hotel in Salt Lake City and I am close to Sandy. There are several quilt shops there. Can anyone recommend the best one to visit? I will be in SLC until April 30th so I think I can find a few quilt and bead shops in the area but someone had recommended the shop in Sandy.

I think that was me Alice. The shop is Quilt, Quilt, Quilt Etc. 11 East Main, Sandy, UT 877-422-6765 or 801-255-2666. There are two stores across the street from each other. I didn't realize this at first & went to the smaller of the two & wondered where the "over 14,000 bolts of fabric" were. Did you get to Mormon Handicraft in SLC yet?
