I have always admired Joan Colvin's work- very, very much. And I love her beautiful books on quilting- applique and color techniques, too. We have lost several great quilters lately- Laurel Burch, Joan Colvin and quilt historian Cuesta Benberry. How very sad.
I hadn't heard that Leslie. Thanks for posting it. I have a couple of her books, though I've never tried anything from them. A bit over my talent level...but that never stops me from buying them to look at the pictures!
I would like to see her quilts in person. I hope you got to see them closely.
Why does it always seem that these things come in waves? I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.
