Quilter's Cache server crash

Just wanted to let anyone who might be wondering know that the Quilter's Cache server crashed last night. They've been trying to reset the server and get the site back up but have been unsuccessful so far.

Marcia is aware of the situation and is working to get everything back up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update, Jeri. I'm one of the many who relies on Marcia's wonderful site for block patterns!

Yep it came back online last night. Everything should be back up and working. If anyone finds any dead links or something that isn't working right please let her know. :o)

Polly: Even though we say we don't measure ourselves against other people, in some corner of our minds, we do, if just a little bit.

So, when I see her (Sally Fields) hawking that Rx, I don't feel old! After all, if even Gidget has 'age related issues' I must be doing okay too.

I think it is interesting and pretty cool that Sally looks her age ... that she does not seem to have a standing Friday afternoon appointment with a plastic surgeon. Aging gracefully. That must take a real strong self esteem out there in Hollywood Land. Ride, Sally, Ride!

Pat, I have to say I agree with you. Mary Tyler Moore should take lessons from Sally Fields. Last time I saw Mary Tyler Moore she looked awful from all the face lifts, etc., etc., that she has had. Wrinkles would look better than the way she looked.

Well, I just plain can't afford face lifts and nips and tucks and there are days when gravity gets a little depressing so I figured that if I just hung from my ankles I could slow down the gravitational pull; reverse the direction, so to speak, and put off the sags and wrinkles for just a little longer.......problem was my boobs kept slapping me in the face......not all bad, my eyes swelled up enough from the battering that it smoothed out the upper and lower wrinkles around my eye lids for about a week. I personally no longer recommend this procedure any more than radical plastic surgery.

Sally Fields has always been one of my very favorites actresses. And I agree - it's great that she looks her age, and still looks darn good to boot!

ROFLMAO!!!!! Oh, Polly,

My DSis and I were just discussing that yesterday!!! Good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who really cares?? And do they think we are so stupid to think taking one pill a week is something you have to "set time aside" for? How much time could that actually take? Hours? You might loose quilting time!!! Oh, My Goodness!

I really lost a lot of respect for Sally the "Flying Nun" but I guess money talks to some people no matter how stupid the commercial is.

OK, off my soapbox. It was just something that stuck me really funny this morning............or maybe I am just trying to avoid the house work...............:-)

I have been thinking about the discussion here a few days ago. I took a few minutes to check and MTM (12/27/36) is 10 years older than Sally (11-6-46). I would think the diabetes also has a big effect on MTM and aging. Crummy face lifts haven't helped her any. Those 10 years in itself can make a big difference. With me its what you see is what you get. No face lifts going to happen here but I don't make much money trying to look good! I always think of Dolly Parton commenting that it costs a lot of money to look so cheap! Taria

For a second I thought I had lost a few years and changed birthdays - but no such luck!

I have had no cosmetic surgery!!
