Re-Batting a comforter

I have a comforter, and all the stuffing is migrating, especially to the corners. I really like the design and colors, so I am going to re- batt it.........at least that is my plan.

It is quite puffy, but I can live without that. What do you think about using Quilter's Dream Puff?? It is fairly thick, which would look nice. The cover on the comforter is poly or poly-cotton and washable. There is no quilting on it presently, just 2 inch lines to tie it. I can remove that pretty easily.

It needs to be machine washable when it is all finished.

Thank you for suggestions or comments.................Pat in AR

Soft andWhite is a poly Batting, made by warm and natural I think. That has a nice "puffiness" and lays flat and clings to make it easier to quilt. I like it for certain things although I use 80 -20 for most other things" hth

You plan to tie it again, right? Any bonded poly batting will do fine. (Bonded so the fibers don't migrate and grow a beard on the surface.) You can use puffy if you want! Roberta in D
