OK, here is what I think.
1 and 3 provide the movement and completion of the circle for the quilt. 3 defines the circle more (the red on the outside). 2 is disjointed (IMO) but causes more moevment in the quilt- in a frenetic energy way. Deb's amazing rework of the border adds more movement to the quilt without changing the original interest and energy.BTW I vote for 3 with the new border.

ThanX, but Kitty's quilt is the MOST amazing thing here. It really reached out and grabbed me ... and then ... I found myself not being able to break free of the outer boundaries. Kitty's quilt needed to just keep going, knowing no boundaries. HEY, that would be a neat name (No Boundaries).
