Red Finally Coming Together

I have an almost impossible time believing in my own ideas. I have given up on this project and gone back to it a dozen times since first posting the drawing. Problem is, all the alternative ideas I came up with were impossible. Or seemed that way. Sooooooooo, the deadline is this week. Thursday. I'm good under deadline pressure. So here is "Red", all done up and ready for the big fuse. The background is coming together, different from the way I envisioned it but still ok, I think. Like I said, it's hard for me to believe in myself. I waste a lot of time starting things and then despairing and throwing them away. But this one is going to fly, good or not. They may not want it once it's done, but I will have given my best effort.

So here she is:

I hope to have the rest of the scene (not quilted, I still have acouple weeks to put finishing touches on) by Wednesday. I could usepositive thoughts. Actually, I could use some caffeine and a steelresolve.

Time will tell, Sunny

What a great piece of work Sunny. Red herself is wonderful, and I love the round house, with all its decoration. I'm so glad you have made yourself persevere with this - it is *so* worth it.

All I can say is, "WOW!!!" That is so cool! You have great imagination, Sunny. I love Red and can't wait to see the finished top. I have a niece for whom it would be the perfect quilt.

Determination and resolve and good completion thoughts are on the way. Not to mention virtual caffeine. Since I can't have any of that, I send you my total supply.

That's amazing! It's been such fun watching the design process, and it just keeps getting better. Sending you some best-quality stainless steel resolve. I recommend very dark chocolate taken with a triple espresso for a caffeine rush. Roberta in D

I do love Red! She looks sort of "Sex in the City"-ish :-) I am totally sure the final result will be wonderful. Going off to brew you another pot -- do you want the Guatemalan this time or some Hazelnut?
