Off for Wal-Mart and hope they have some of the $1 flannel then to Joann's with coupon in hand for muslin. DIL put a notice on freecycle and we have fabric to pick up today and tomorrow and we picked up some last night. The sewing machine will be humming this afternoon.
JoAnn's has some fleece on sale today for $2.49/yd. I bought several pieces and will serge the edges for quick blankets.

I got 6 yards of 120 inch muslin for $18. DIL is tying a baby quilt now. Soon I will start birthing more quilts.
Be sure and wash that flannel before you cut it. Mine shrunk a bit.
My WalMart didn't have any $1/yd flannel.
Drats!! Mine had a huge table with $1/yard flannel on bolts piled 3 feet high. We have lots and lots of Arts and Crafts fairs here. Do you think that might be why our local Wal-mart seems to stock so much more fabric and sewing stuff that isn't in other places??
