Response from publisher about "Hobo Quilts"

This morning I had a long conversation with the Editorial Director for the Craft Division at Krause Publishing concerning the mistakes in the recently released book, "Hobo Quilts". She emailed this afternoon that they have looked at the book and see the errors I was indicating. Corrections will be made to future printings. For now they will make the corrections available.

The text of the book is very interesting. I do encourage you to purchase the book. If you will be making the quilt please double check the dimensions before cutting each pieced block.

That's great! Hopefully they will be careful BEFORE publishing future books and CD's. But that might be to much to hope. I wonder if an editor somewhere along the way ended up getting reprimanded. KJ

Thanks so much for the info & review; esp. on the farmer's Wife quilt. I can see now it's beyond my capabilities. And I don't have EQ. The Hobo book would be intersting to me also. The railroad ran through our farm when I was a kid, and I remember many times my mom fixing a plate of food or sandwich, whatever we had. She never turned one away. But I do remember she required that they eat on the porch. I remember being really fascinated by the occasional scruffy men my mom fed on the porch.

Where are the corrections available -- I have both the book and the CD.
