Selling/swapping fabric

I just finished a major overhaul of my stash, and realized that I have some fabric that I think I could sell/swap. Do any of you have recommendations for placed online where you have sold or swapped fabric or other quilting-related things?

Go over to rec.crafts.textiles.marketplace and see if that looks like a good place for selling or swapping. I'm really not familiar with that group but it might be a solution. Polly

There's a Yahoo group, "SewItsForSale."

I once used a bunch of oddball fabrics and pieces to make a doggy bed. The dog loved it and didn't care what colors and prints it was. Inside I used an old soft but worn blanket cut the same size and TIED it rather than quilt it.

There's a great Yahoo group that is just for buying and selling any sewing and embroidery items,,I've both bought and sold on it, snipped-for-privacy@yahoogroups.com Gen

That reminded me of the one *I* was trying to think of!

I've sold stuff very successfully at Quilter's Flea Market.

Ebay all the way. You can specify whether you will sell just to your own country, or worldwide. I have bought/sold lots of bits and pieces from there and it's always my first port of call when I need something. Morag
