Boy, oh boy am I ever glad to have finished this one.

As you may remember, I designed myself into a corner (actually 2 corners) when I used scrap fabric and then found out that the mattress for this full-size bed was 18" thick. Seems like every solution I used caused another problem. I justify the split lower border by saying that it is an antique bed and it does have posts on the corners. But the truth being told, that 2.5" red inner border threw the clamshells off. Plus, I was tired of clamshells by that point.
So it's off to California this afternoon. Son and daughter-in-law picked out the focus fabrics, and I'm hoping they'll like what I did with them.
Not my taste, but I'm pleased.
