Boy, oh boy am I ever glad to have finished this one. you may remember, I designed myself into a corner (actually 2corners) when I used scrap fabric and then found out that the mattressfor this full-size bed was 18" thick. Seems like every solution Iused caused another problem. I justify the split lower border bysaying that it is an antique bed and it does have posts on thecorners. But the truth being told, that 2.5" red inner border threwthe clamshells off. Plus, I was tired of clamshells by that point.So it's off to California this afternoon. Son and daughter-in-lawpicked out the focus fabrics, and I'm hoping they'll like what I didwith them.Not my taste, but I'm pleased.joanp.s.
