I missed the original post but glad I caught it here. Great picture, adorable grandson and nice work. I hope you let him know about all your quilter friend complimenting him on his work. He should feel proud of what he accomplished!

None at that time, Sandy. My breadmaker "lives" there on the island so that I can bake bread anytime I want/need to. ;) Did you notice the springform pan on the counter at the back? I was getting ready to make a coffeecake for yesterday's little get-together at my house. And I guess it's a good thing the laundry room door was closed! LOL!

I haven't talked to him since Monday, since I was busy all day yesterday. But I'm going to tell him today and show him his photo on my web page before I take it down. He is very proud of his accomplishment, and I've told him I am, too! :D

Thanks, Pat -- on both counts. Those pinwheel borders didn't quite come out as I'd hoped -- two colors alternating don't always "work" if the same two colors are in the background. ;)

Meanwhile, as I have no grandchildren at this time, I babysit at church, and my current favorite little girl will turn 1 in August; time enough to make her a quilt (which her mom expected as a shower gift last year ).
