Thank goodness for fun mail

I'm writing this wearing a sweat suit, warm fuzzy robe and a "walking jacket" with a hood. But the mail was good to me today. I received the pink angel fabric from somewheresewing.com and I have the say the fabric is as good in person as on the screen. The full color version arrived from overrainbow.com two days ago. It is beautiful, but...... looks a lot like those Guardian Angel prints that used to hang over my Meemaw's sofa when I was a kid. The pink toile is perfect. It's soft to the touch and the images are lovely. I got a yard. I will be able to make four small wall hangings: one for my friend Deb, one for my mom, one for an elderly friend who recently moved to Spokane and one to keep for spur of the moment gift giving needs. I'm really not sure what I will do with the full color version.

Anyway, that kept me distracted for a good bit this afternoon. What fun.

Sunny now surrounded by angels

Gee Sunny, it must be cold where you are. I am wearing a tank top and a pair of bikini panties.

I think she's all bundled up because she's sick with chills and fever. I hope you feel better soon, Sunny!

Bikini panties?? Damn, you must be skinnier than I am. Yes, fever and chills and aches and misery..... whine, whine, whine........

But the fabric is lovely. Anybody with a thing for pink, girly, Victorian, angels, ....... should definitely have a look.

Sunny

OKOKOK, they are high cut. I am not bikini sized either.

It's nice to get out of bed and put on shorts to wear for the day! Yesterday I made me a cute pink top to wear with my white shorts. Barbara in Central FL

Shorts, tank top and NO SOCKS! Gonna hit 90° on Monday! Eating lettuce and peas and what few taters grew form the garden. Having the Mexican Bird of Paradise, Honeysuckle and 2 Tropical Bird of Paradise (one white and one orange) planted this coming Thursday and our plant landscaping will be done.

Unit this Thurs when we head for IN.

Butterfly (Wondering--do I pack the Parka or just the winter jacket?)

Likely, better pack both, plus a pair of hip-high boots, from the weather reports I've seen!

ME-Judy (who still has over a foot of snow covering where my garden is/was!)

I could wear that too -- but would look awfully funny wearing it as I push the snowblower down the driveway!

We got another 6 inches of snow last night!
