Two Finished

And Centennial Lily seemed to take FOREVER! My hand quilting is sooo slow! But it's finished and I was very pleased to hang it in our bedroom.

The Patriotic Hearts wallhanging was made from scraps. And, boy oh boy, do I ever have scraps! :> It's a gift for an in-law of DS#2.

I'm always anxious to open your links to new quilts. This didn't disappoint! Both projects are wonderful. It would be difficult to pick a favorite.

The Centennial Lily is gorgeous. I admire those that doe appliqué. And the Patriotic Hearts is a fun quilt and I'm sure it will be enjoyed.

Gosh Joan, they're so different from one another - hardly credible that one person made both! I do love Centennial Lily; the hearts are most eye-catching, too. . In message , joan8904 in Bellevue Nebraska writes

Very nice work, Joan, well worth the time taken. And I really like the dimension in the hearts.

Such talented people on this group! I admire them both, but the lilies would be a favorite with me, as well. :)

Many thanx for your kind words.

One question for the hand quilters. Does a quilt seem to take forever to finish quilting? Or is it that I'm not spending enough hours per day quilting? I can only do SO much and I have to stop.
