First DD is still in the hospital. They finally gave her a nerve block shot in her leg after her asking for it for 2.5 weeks. They did start light PT. Not sure how much longer she'll be there
I went for my 2 week check-up for the broken bone above the newly placed plate in my foot.....bad news. it has NOT shown any signs of healing and my big toe is heading for the moon. So this AM, I will have another surgery...new longer plate put in and a screw put in the broken part. They are saying I'll be coming home today. Rather have it corrected now than have to go thru it after the 6 weeks of regular bone mending time is up in Jan. At least SIL will be here to make christmas dinner :)
Firefly had a beautiful service. Her girls recited a poem Mom would say each night and then sang they're favorite song. Right after 2 of their classmates (also sisters) went up and gave them a Christmas Present. Oh, Firefly was buried on what would have been my Dad's 96th HB if he still would have been here.
