Marilyn I have not done any of these tins so I don't know if it is a good size or not. I think I may get up the nerve to try one though. I do like your tin. I have a little tin box collection. I am such a pack rat! LOL

You know M-C....I went to the exhibition on Thursday and one of the things I bought was quilling book, which has the most exquisite trinket boxes in it. I've scanned a picture so you can see them. I've put it in the Cards & other projects album in my Webshots. I was thinking that the round tin would perhaps be a good substitute for the little wooden boxes used, as it is about one and a half inches deep, so could be padded inside.

asks...NO...he

Isn't it funny how the husbands start to get involved in the crafting? I'll take mine to the LSS and he's all over trying to pick out things that I might like. But if you were to have their friends over and told them that he helps you with your crafts, he'll outright deny it crack open a beer and watch the football game. What manly man helps the wife with crafts? Most of them...... :o) But we won't tell. LOL

Cleo...my DH is not at all bashful when it comes to my crafting. He used to oil paint so has a very good eye, couple that with the fact that he is a very butch builder, he wouldn't feel the need to deny involvement either....LOL Your DH obviously likes to *pretend* to be the big strong boy in front of his mates...ROFL Don't you just love them.....it cracks me up!!!!!

Mine does the outdoor crafts in the garden which he is actually very proud of. Here's what he's done:

Crud! Okay, each link is the same. Sorry. Scroll down to the Pond Critters to see the pond and chairs, and to the Bird Houses and Recycled branches to see his other work.

Yeah, someone else did too. Wonder whose yard we'll find it in. LOL

Was it in your backyard? Anything left in my front yard seems to be fair game. People even stop to pick my roses! My front yard is pretty plain.

No, my little pond is in the front yard. Those chairs have been there for a few years, but last year we cut down the hedge to start it over again. It was growing so wild, almost as thick as it was high. So now that it's only about 2 feet high, our yard is open for everyone to see. I loved it when the hedge was 5 almost 6 feet high and made my yard very private. Nothing disappeared. Our extention cord disappeared from the front yard in January, the night before we had to be up at 4 in the morning to take DD to the hospital for surgery and it was -40 outside. You have to plug in the car in that weather or there's no way it'll start. I went into panic mode. Luckily we had a spare cord in the garage. I can't wait for the hedge to grow tall again. I hate when I'm sitting out in the yard and people walk by and stare at us like we're animals in a cage at the zoo. Makes you wanna scratch your armpits and make animal noises. LOL
