Can anyone tell me if this tin would do for the April monthly challenge. =
It housed my Bioflow magnetic bracelet, which really looks like a watch. =
That should give you an idea of the size of the tin. It is 5 1/2 inches =
long, 2 1/2 inches wide and 3/4 inch deep. It would accommodate a large =
size tag book....but is it too big? If it is I will need to look for =
something else!
Marilyn, while I was unable to see the tin (said I was not the owner of
the album and needed a password) I would think that it would work. I
had actually started a tin last night, (anniversary coming up and
wanted to do something for DH)then saw the Challenge posted. Perhaps
I'll get it done before the challange is over! LOL Good luck with
yours!

The dimensions of the Altoids tin for the challenge is roughly 4 3/4 x 2 =
1/4 x 3/4. I hope that someone will give me the dimensions of a =
Valamint Tin. Seems to me that yours is close enough to work too. Have =
fun with it!

Great M-C, will start planning what I am going to do. You know, when we
went to Asda (part of Wal-Mart group) on Friday I bought three dinky
buckets with the intention of decorating them to store my Marvy LePlume
and Gel Pens. I can maybe do them all at the one time :o)
Marilyn
You're not going to believe this...I brought two of the Altoids tins =
home toinght and dumped the candies in baggies for the kids. My DS said =
where's my box. I told him I needed it for a project. He told me he used =
them for his cards and could he have it back when I'm done. I went into =
his room and he has like twenty of them on the shelf - my sister has =
been giving them to him for sometime to store stuff in....right under my =
nose the whole time........if I mess up I know where to go.
Sandy
Sounds like I need to go find me an Altoids tin or two. LOL =
Hmm...get a couple and send one with DH! He'll eat anything. LOL
That is too funny!!!

Thanks Cleo...just wanted to check that there were no specific size issues
for altered tins. I already have the seed of a design in my head but will
allow it to evolve a little more.

Hey, I can't help it if I live in a 5-ring circus. LOL What do you expect
from a DH who collects Transformers, a 6 yr old DD who wants to be a
princess..and take Tae Kwan Doe, and a almost-4 yr old DS who sword fights
with chopsticks????? I have to scrap to keep my sanity.
And you know what's worse? He's offered to sell them to me.....not =
give...sell....if I need any more.
I can't believe I didn't even know he had them. I don't think I've been =
in his room for a couple of months. He puts away his own laundry, and =
picks out his own clothes for school. I call his room the 'danger zone' =
because of the hot wheels, imaginex, power rangers, and yes...swords and =
weapons and avoid it like the plague. The last time I had a run in with =
a hot wheels car barefooted I couldn't hardly walk for a month.
Sandy
ROFL! Well now we know where the Altoids tin stash is....at Sandy's =
house!
I think after all the laundry, cooking, cleaning, money-juggling, and =
other mom/wife duties we do, you shouldn't have to buy them. Hey, you =
could always send him a bill for doing his laundry. LOL =20
Not in dollars, but in total tins, LOL!
