I received one a few days ago and the wheels in my head have been spinning
trying to imagine how I can transform it into something wonderful. My DH
laughed when I told him why I didn't throw the case away but I did the CD.
I always save both - we just made Easter Bunnies with the cd's at the
daycare. We've also made flowers, cats, etc...
I've seen altered cd's for scrapbooks, but have not yet tried them.

but, but, but...you've got to finish it Cathy! I messed the bottom of my
first one, couldn't close the lid LoL! Took the sucer apart and gave it a
brand new bottom! I have something else planned for May! Honest....
I'll post a scan as soon as I upload it from the camera!

Cathy, I think you should press ahead and work on the tin even if you messed
it up! Can it be sanded/scrapped down? How bad can it be? inquiring minds
want to know.....
If you really can't eat them in time you could do like my mom, who
wanted to do a tin but doesn't eat the mints, and put them in a ziplock
bag. That ziplock bag of mints is now in my purse for my kids and she
had her tin ready to work on the day after she bought it.
I had to throw it away. I was using stickers and embossing over them and
they melted and turned brown! Looked really, really bad. I'll try again next
week. :-)
I tried and ended up trashing it. I was embossing and melted and burned the
stickers I put on it. Part of the problem was I was trying to finish three
different projects at the same time. I'll try again next week.
Oh Cathy, I'm so sorry you had trouble! Even tho the challenge will be
"offically over" next week you should still give it a whirl. They are alot
of fun, provided you arent working on too many projects at once.
