Barn Digital LO

Hi, everyone.

This is my 3 or 4th digital layout I have done with the Lifetimez software. I am still learning but I thought I would share it with you. It definitely isn't fancy. I am going to add a ribbon and write a check list on the tag once I get it printed.

Oh, forgot to mention the white boarder is from Webshots.

Looks great. I may have to steal the LO idea from you for mine. I like the way it looks like a shop with an awning. Do you like the program? I have one that I am planning to give to my DD. Thought I might play with it a little first. Sandy

Thanks Sandy. I do really like the program. It is easy to use and I feel like I can create decent layouts quickly with it. Go ahead and take the layout! I don't mind. The background and embellishments I downloaded for free from Two Peas.

You can actually download background paper and embellishments and use them with the program? I was thinking the program might be limited to just what was on it. Goes to show I'm not keeping up with e-mail and notices about the program. I may have to buy another one for my DD and keep this one. I hope to be able to get to it this evening after I finish my newspaper article for this weeks paper. I've been attempting to re-organize part of my office. I need more shelf space and there is no wall space left for any more shelves. So I've been going through the shelves trying to compact them. DH said no more books upstairs. I'm trying to talk him into a floor to ceiling bookshelf in the hallway up there. Sandy

With the price being so low at the moment, I definitely think you need your own program. :) You can download embellisments and background paper from different places. If you want I can send you the directions on how to load the downloaded paper and embellishments iinto the Lifetimez software. The directions are not mine as I received them from another user group but they are real easy to follow.

Good luck with the re-organizing!! I would love to have a floor to ceiling bookshelf. I hope you can make him reconsider the idea.

Tammy, I would love to have the directions. My e-mail is slmcbethATverizonDOTnet I think I will order another one while the price is right. We already built floor to ceiling shelves in the office - one whole wall and each of the other walls have shelves between three and five foot wide all the way up. We are readers here (kids and me) and I do so much history and genealogy research the shelves are full and there are stacks in the corners. Not to mention the living room where we we have built in shelves eight foot wide. DH thinks I should downsize the books and leave some wall space.......... Sandy

Thanks, Sandy

Here is what I sent Tammy a while back:

As for being able to put other company/free digis in LT, yes you can and I think it actualy is a selling point [because it is so easy]. What I did is create a folder in [the LT embelishments subfolder, under programs] embelishments called non TLC. Then you can create subfolders if you want to know which company the item comes from. What is great is that if you do it that way, you can see it right in the software with the thumbnail.

That's cute Tammy! I like the checklist idea. I may have to scraplift that. Are you going to print it out and add it to your Barn album?

Thanks Deb! I am planning on printing it out on 6x6 to include in my album! I started working on another page when Dave arrived last night. Lots of fun!
